Dear Mr. Bedford
I am a
Christian who, after reviewing this site, found it well put
together and making some good points. All faiths, and non-faiths,
have
their flaws and none can ever be completely proven. However, on
the
subject of absolutes, you claim that atheists are free thinkers and
aren't
locked down by "religious absolutes", yet throughout this website you
continually accept the idea that their are no gods, no devils, etc. This
is
an absolute! And no matter how much evidence a Christian or Jew or
Muslim
will give you in support of theism you will still hold fast to your
absolute, closed-minded approach of "there is no God". You must
accept as
a possibility that God exists because you can never prove, much less
know,
that their is no God. Instead, I ask you to objectively weigh the
evidence
for and against both theism and atheism. Who knows? You could
be like
Saul of Tarsus, a huge opponent of Christianity and its moronic
followers,
who then, after the power of Jesus Christ was converted and became
the
apostle Paul. Feel free to email back and in the words of our Lord
and
Savior Jesus Christ, Peace be with you!
