Just thought I would let you know something about the opposite side
of
Canada.
A few years ago, the PEI government passed a bi-law that made all
advertising billboards illegal and cleaned up the appearance of the
countryside. Now all businesses have to buy space on provided
government road signs. With the exception of religious signs.
So we
still have to put up with those negative Fire and Brimstone "Prepare
to
Meet Thy God" signs. No one speaks up about this out of fear of
ostrasization. The bill protects some under the grandfather
clause. If
that is true, how come NO old business signs still exist? I think
they
were asked to remove them.
Just to let you know.
